Our second day of the Better Business Summit is done!
Another huge thank you from the Better Business Network team to everyone who joined us for our second day for #BBS24, another year down! We came back bigger and better this year evolving in many ways including having a speaker on each panel to represent nature, giving her a voice.
Key takeaways from the Summit Day 2:
Breakfast Networking – We started the day right with a fantastic Breakfast networking session, generously sponsored by Ticket Tailor. Attendees were able to eat and connect with fellow professionals all together getting excited for the day ahead. To find out more about our Breakfast Networking sessions, check out our YouTube video.
Exhibition space – Throughout the day we had an excellent array of exhibitors showcasing their various businesses, allowing our attendees to explore the diverse offerings, engaging in conversations and discovering innovative solutions.
Conference Sessions and catalyst conversations – These took place throughout the day facilitated by the fantastic Ngunan Adamu allowing our attendees to immerse themselves with insightful sessions across two stages and breakout spaces, network with industry leaders, and participate in engaging discussions – all whilst gathering knowledge to drive success in their businesses!

Dinner – We had another fantastic and well-deserved lunch to digest the morning’s knowledge. Attendees enjoyed a hot buffet plant-based lunch, included as part of their Better Business Summit ticket – Food for thought!
Action Hour – We’re all about the action here at the Better Business Summit which is why we enabled our attendees to create a tangible impact during our surprise Action Hour! We had all those comfortable write letters to their local MPs, expressing concerns within their local areas.

We then stood in solidarity with fellow Better Business Network Member, Stephen Gingell outside the Manchester Metropolitan University Business School for a powerful photo to amplify our collective voice – They say the pen is mightier than the sword!

We then wrapped up our day with the Closing Speech, reflecting on the valuable insights gained throughout the day as we prepared to bid farewell to another fantastic summit before ending our evening with an after-party at Sandbar, just a two-minute walk from the venue, for a People, Planet, Pint, Pizza, Party! Wildjac Distillery also kindly provided our first drinks on arrival and Tyler Grange generously covered the slices!
This was a great way for our attendees to continue Networking, unwind, and connect with other Better Business Summit guests whilst also learning about the fantastic People Planet Pint movement, created by Adam Bastock from Small99 and kindly sponsored by Simon Blackler over at Krystal – Be sure to check them out!
