Do you wonder how the heck those TikTok influencers look so effortless on camera while you start panicking at the sight of a blinking red dot with the word ‘REC’ next to it?
Putting yourself ‘out there’ on video can feel super vulnerable at first. And, if you’re blocked from getting out there and telling the world who you are and what you stand for, it makes it harder for your perfect clients to find you.
When it comes to content, images and words can only communicate so much.
Video – which gets across your insights, gestures, voice, and importantly, your energy – is what genuinely attracts and connects with the people who are looking for someone just like you and what you have to offer.
Of course, video is favoured by the social media algorithms and has been shown to increase engagement on your website hugely — which makes it a powerful part of an engaging marketing strategy – but it goes deeper than that.
Putting yourself on video creates a window into who you are, what you stand for, and how you do business in a way that the prettiest pictures will never be able to show.
