The Better Business Network is thrilled to announce we’re hosting two, three Hour in person Deaf Awareness Training Workshops ran by the Royal Association for Deaf People! These sessions will be open to everyone and will be taking place on the same days before our Better Business Summit Launch Parties.

Research shows that more than 70% of people who use hearing aids would choose a company with staff who are deaf aware over a company whose staff are not. Therefore, these sessions are crucially important, as the training will help you and your staff be able to understand the barriers faced by deaf people and people with hearing loss or tinnitus feel confident communicating with deaf people.

 

👂 WHAT IS DEAF AWARENESS TRAINING?

Deaf Awareness Training will be carried out by the accredited Training Providers at the Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD). The training course is specifically designed to improve your awareness, communication skills and confidence, enabling you to help break down the barriers faced daily by people who are deaf or have a hearing loss.

The session lasts for three hours, and all attendees will be given a certificate of attendance. It costs £70 (+VAT)
