🚀 There are a few things you should do to start getting involved now that you’ve become a member of the BBN! 🚀

1. You should’ve received your log in details via email.

Navigate to the Better Business Network homepage and log in by clicking the purple button in the corner to view the Members Area (your dashboard) – this is where you can access everything you’ll need as a BBN Member.

2. Once logged in, it’s important to make sure to set up your Business Directory listing.

Log into your account and go to the Your Profile section, check your details & business description are all correct and upload your logo (make sure to tick the “Publish my Profile” box or you won’t show up for others – see how here) so your fellow BBN members can see and connect with you!

3. Download our logo and add it to your website and email signature.

4. Share the fact you’re a BBN Member. If you post on your socials about joining, remember to tag me (James, the Head of Community at the BBN) and the company page and we’ll happily reshare it to our followers.

5. Download Slack and introduce yourself on there.

We consistently find that those who get the most out of the Network are the ones who spend time getting stuck in, and it’s great place for day-to-day support from like-minded people

6. Check out our Events Calendar to see our upcoming events. We have monthly live virtual and in-person events happening across the country that are a great introduction to your fellow BBN members.

I highly recommend booking onto one of our four regular structured courses to start your upskilling journey (Carbon Literacy Training, Inclusive Leadership Training, Sustainability as a Sales Tool and Intro to B Corp)

7. Remember, you join as a company and not an individual. You can add your colleagues to the Network from your account settings – just enter their email and invite them (see how here).

Once that’s done, they’ll be able to get their own logins, access everything you can access and even start receiving our weekly newsletter

8. Learn from some of the resources we have in our Tools and Resources section!

We have recorded workshops, written guides and explanations on a whole number of issues that will teach you skills to increase your positive social and environmental impact.
