What is Inclusive Leadership for Purpose Driven Businesses?

This online course provides you with the key ingredients of inclusive leadership for People and Operational Leaders. From understanding the distinction between policy and process to leveraging the power of inclusion to enhance stakeholder engagement, participants will gain insights into harnessing the potential of people, optimising processes, effective product and project management, to improve performance organisation-wide.

How will the Workshop be structured?

Course Format:

  • The course will be delivered via Zoom over 2x 4 hour sessions.
  • There will be a blend of talks, independent and group activities.

Module 1: Processes

Why don’t things always work the way they should? And why do policies only seem to apply
to some people?

The simple answer is inefficient processes. Identifying and improving these is the foundation
of high performance and that’s where we start our journey.

Module 2: People

Too much of DEI is about diversity you don’t have, rather than recognising, protecting and
nurturing the diverse characteristics that make up your existing stakeholders.

This intensive module is designed to alleviate your anxiety around “the topic”, unblocking the
path to accessibility, retention of the right people and more sustainable opportunities for your
community.

Module 3: Inclusion Tales with Krish Patel

How do you share stories of adverse experiences and celebrate achievements without
reducing a whole person to a single characteristic?

Learn from Tales to Inspire’s Founder Krish Patel as he leads a fireplace chat with Azeem to
dig deeper into the professional and personal experiences that have shaped him.

Module 4: Performance

If it’s not making you better then there’s no point. But there are different ways of measuring
what “better” is. This module explores ways of managing objective and subjective goals and
values.

Module 5: Projects and Products

Go forth and perform!!

We will end the course with strategies and tools to translate your learning into your business
as usual.
